Our Purpose for Existence

The McGodfred Foundation is a non-governmental philanthropic organization established by the McGodfred Family Endowment Trust as a special purpose organization through which the McGodfred family would commit its wealth and worth accruing from the financial profits of its family businesses as well as dividends accruing to its family investments and assets for such philanthropic investment initiatives as set out in the legal chatter of the McGodfred Foundation.

As set out in its legal chatter, the McGodfred Foundation has three objects:

1. Funding for Academic Scholarships and Research

To create the McGodfred Medical Scholarship and the McGodfred Leadership Development Scholarship for the sponsorship of low-income Christian students from under-privileged communities to pursue higher education in medical science with specializations in Ophthalmology, Cardiology and Neurology as well as Organizational Leadership Development.

To develop strategic partnerships with selected universities and colleges around the world that meet the Foundation's qualification criteria for funding to embark on research projects into Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Neurology Mental Health and Organizational Leadership Development.

2. Readiness for Medical Evangelism & Development Missions (RedeeMED Missions)

To develop a global network of Christian medical doctors and other allied health professionals that would be sponsored by the McGodfred Foundation to embark on propagating the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ through medical evangelism and community development projects in Communities-In-Need around the world.

To develop strategic partnerships with local churches, aid organizations, community leaders and local authorities in identified Communities-In-Need around the world with the purpose of establishing and strengthening the presence of RedeeMED Missions in those communities to meet their physical, medical and spiritual needs by discipling them into faith in Jesus Christ.

3. Rewarding Milestone Excellence in Medical Science and Leadership Development

To institute the "Footprints of Excellence Awards" to reward student beneficiaries of the McGodfred Scholarships that achieve milestone excellence in their fields of studies in an academic year.

To reward researchers of specified milestone research projects that produce solutions to critical human problems.

These three objects of the McGodfred Foundation are aimed at identifying, selecting, and developing under-privileged communities by investing in their human potentials that ultimately adds value to the livelihoods of those communities.

Our Sources of Funding

FUNDING FOR THE "REDEEMED MISSIONS"

Vydden Security is the largest corporate donor for the funding of McGodfred Foundation's Readiness for Medical Evangelism & Development Missions (RedeeMED Missions) which is aimed at sending out Christian Medical Evangelists to under-privileged, rural, and urban slum communities around the world to deliver the Gospel of Jesus Christ, packaged in needed medical care to those communities.

Vydden Security's partnership with the McGodfred Foundation for the funding of our RedeeMED Missions will translate into our team of Christian Medical Evangelists reaching people living without hope, good health, and faith in Jesus Christ with both compassionate medical care and the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

All funding from Vydden Security to the McGodfred Foundation is exclusively for the RedeeMED Missions, and covers 60% of the annual operating budget of the program.

Vydden Security provides additional sponsorship to the McGodfred Foundation's other strategic philanthropic initiatives around the world.

SPONSORSHIP OF THE "FOOTPRINTS OF EXCELLENCE AWARDS"

The McGodfred Foundation's flagship "Footprints of Excellence Awards" annual event is largely funded and sponsored by Steinsil Properties. The "Footprints of Excellence" awards event recognizes the exceptional landmark achievements of selected McGodfred Foundation-sponsored medical science and leadership scholars in different categories of academic excellence.

Awards are given to qualified students who meet the criteria for selection.

At this annual charity and award-giving event, the McGodfred Foundation announces beneficiaries of the McGodfred Medical Scholarship, the McGodfred Leadership Development Scholarship, the McGodfred Medical Excellence Awards, and the McGodfred Leadership Excellence Awards.

Steinsil Properties has pledged a 10-Year Commitment of Funding to the McGodfred Foundation for the sponsorship of the Footprints of Excellence Awards annual event for the period of 2024 - 2034.

This source of McGodfred Foundation's funding is one of its largest, and makes up about 20% of the Total Annual Operating Budget of the McGodfred Foundation.

NON-SPONSORSHIP GENERAL DONOR

Tarnif Hygienics is a non-sponsorship corporate donor to the McGodfred Foundation's philanthropic initiatives.

The company's financial donations to the Foundation are not contractually bound to fund any particular specific initiative. Funds donated by Tarnif Hygienics amounts to about 10% of the Total Annual Operating Budget of the McGodfred Foundation.

The philanthropic investment initiatives of the McGodfred Foundation are primarily funded by the McGodfred Family Endowment Trust from a specified percentage of the profits and other assets and resources of the McGodfred Holdings Corporation.

Approximately 60% of the Foundation's Total Annual Operating Budget is funded by the McGodfred Family Endowment Trust.

This provision for funding the philanthropic investment initiatives of the Foundation was through a legal standing order made and ratified by the McGodfred Family Endowment Trust at the establishment of the McGodfred Foundation

As a member of a network of non-governmental international philanthropic organizations, the McGodfred Foundation enjoys generous fraternal support from these organizations that comes in forms of equipment and special purpose machinery donations; specialized technical and professional consultancy; propriety technology transfers and training.

These non-monetary support from our partner charities are an invaluable contribution to the work of the Foundation.; and on an annual basis, these non-monetary support amounts to about 8% of the Foundation's Annual Operating Budget.

Dreams sometimes need a supporting environment with the right resources to become realities. Where dreams exist in disabling environments, they are parched and wither into oblivion, leaving the dreamers with a sense of inadequacy, failure, or loss. Dreams thrive where they are identified, recognized, nurtured and cultivated into realizable human potential and ingenuity.

This is the purpose for which the McGodfred Foundation exists. - to breathe life into the hopes of many low-income medical science students from under-privileged communities, assuring them of the Foundation's full support for their education through scholarships and other advancement programs to actualize their medical profession dreams.

The McGodfred Foundation's body of work as a philanthropic non-governmental organization is a small part in the larger role of the philanthropic community in impacting our world with our human capital investment initiatives in countries around the world where we identify the academic potentials of medical students that qualify for our support and investment.

Investing in Modern Medical Technologies in Under-Privileged Medical Universities

With its global network of resources, the McGodfred Foundation works closely in collaboration with its global partners to make needed investments in equipping medical universities and colleges in underprivileged communities in countries around the world with modern cutting-edge medical technologies, equipment, gadgets, and auxiliary devices to bridge the gap of quality teaching and learning of medical science between the privileged and the underprivileged medical universities.

The McGodfred Foundation has launched an initiative that is aimed at leveraging the enormous technological opportunity of AI to enhance the study, teaching and learning of Medical Science, focusing on the specializations of Ophthalmology, Neurology and Cardiology. This initiative dubbed, Artificial Intelligence Medical Science Education Project (AIMSEP) is one of the major investment projects the McGodfred Foundation is embarking on as one of its human capital development efforts in the field of medical science and technology.

Producing Quality Medical Doctors With Values

The overriding ethos of the Strategic Growth Investment model that the McGodfred Foundation espouses as part of its criteria for selecting medical students that are awarded scholarships for the study of medical science is for potential candidates to know and understand the values of the medical profession, and the importance of the medical practitioner to human health and life.

In particular, the McGodfred Foundation places a very high degree of paramountcy on selecting scholarship applicants whose personal and professional values align with the McGodfred Foundation's vision of providing needed quality healthcare to poor and underprivileged communities around the world.

After being awarded the McGodfred Medical Scholarship and during the course of their study to become Medical Doctors, all medical student beneficiaries of the McGodfred Medical Scholarship are mandatorily enrolled in specified Leadership Development courses tailored strategically to provide them with the orientation of becoming a McGodfred Foundation-supported physician.

Raising Specialist Medical Doctors With Morals

The McGodfred Foundation has a strict Code of Moral Conduct that all the beneficiaries of the McGodfred Medical Scholarship must sign prior to being awarded a scholarship or sponsorship after a successful application and selection process.

Beneficiaries are continually offered needed moral guidance, counsel and support during the course of their medical science education. The overarching goal is for the McGodfred Foundation to make the necessary investments that will produce quality specialist physicians that have sound moral and ethical belief systems regarding the practice of medicine in low-income and underprivileged communities.

This FRAUD ALERT is to notify the public that the McGodfred Foundation does not solicit funds, raise money, nor sends out emails, text messages or makes phone calls to individuals, companies or organizations requesting for charity donations. The McGodfred Foundation is fully funded and supported by the McGodfred Family Endowment Trust, the McGodfred Holdings Corporation and its autonomous subsidiary companies.

Any claim by any person or organization that they are representing the McGodfred Foundation and are requesting for charity donations on behalf of the McGodfred Foundation by email, text messages or by phone calls must be treated as FRAUD and be immediately reported to law enforcement authorities. The McGodfred Foundation will not be held liable for any FRAUD perpetrated in its name without first verifying any such fundraising requests from our offices.
