Our Global Strategic Partnerships

Being a member of a global network of philanthropic non-governmental organizations, the McGodfred Foundation has developed strategic partnerships within this global network to facilitate its objectives and achieve its mission.

The Foundation has, likewise, forged alliances with medical schools in universities around the world through which the Foundation offers its scholarship facilities and also institutes its endowment trust for the advancement of medical science education, research, and curative remedies for diseases of the brain, eyes and heart.

Partner Medical Colleges and Universities

University of Ghana Medical School, Ghana, West Africa

The University of Ghana Medical School in Ghana, West Africa is one of the prominent institutions of medical science education in Africa. Located in the capital city of Ghana in Accra, the UGMS has been a medical school of choice to students from other African countries; and has produced some of the finest medical professionals in Africa.

UGMS has become one of the strategic partners in the western part of Africa to the McGodfred Foundation's mission of providing funding for educating medical students from under-privileged communities.

Dhaka National Medical College, Bangladesh

The McGodfred Foundation has its operational footprints in the southeastern Asian country of Bangladesh, in strategic partnership with the Dhaka National Medical College, where the McGodfred Foundation is offering scholarship programs of varying degrees to medical students specializing to become neurosurgeons and cardiovascular physicians.

The McGodfred Foundation in working collaboration with the authorities of Dhaka National Medical College has signed a Memorandum of Understanding that would extend additional support to the school for upgrading their technology and systems to optimize the performance of the medical faculty. This project is expected to be completed and handed over to the school by the end of November 2026.

Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria

The Medical University of Sofia is a crucial partner with the McGodfred Foundation in preparing some of the finest medical science students under the auspices of the McGodfred Medical Scholarship. The university is a strategic partner for Foundation's objectives in advancing the objectives of the RedeeMED Missions in the Baltics.

The McGodfred Foundation is partnering with the Sofia Medical University in the Eastern European country of Bulgaria to facilitate the development of an ultra-modern medical science laboratory to enhance the university's medical research projects.

Medical College of Peru, Miraflores

In South America, the McGodfred Foundation has completed talks with the Medical College of Peru in Miraflores under a provisional agreement that will afford medical students and the medical faculty of the college a special purpose funding assistance for a research project into certain neurological disorders and their correlation with certain socio-cultural communal practices.

This research project has been approved by the Foundation to commence in March 2025.

The McGodfred Foundation is has qualified and selected four medical science students from the Medical College of Peru to receive the McGodfred Medical Scholarship.

The four students will be officially awarded their scholarships during the 2026 FOOTPRINTS OF EXCELLENCE AWARDS scheduled for May 9 in London, U.K.

Any claim by any person or organization that they are representing the McGodfred Foundation and are requesting for charity donations on behalf of the McGodfred Foundation by email, text messages or by phone calls must be treated as FRAUD and be immediately reported to law enforcement authorities. The McGodfred Foundation will not be held liable for any FRAUD perpetrated in its name without first verifying any such fundraising requests from our offices.
